Taylor Township is pleased to announce that we are now using the Rave Alert system to communicate important information to our residents.
This is the same system Blair County Uses.
This system allows us to quickly share updates such as emergencies, road closures, work zones, community events, and other notifications that help keep everyone informed and safe.
To get started, simply click Sign-Up. We will register you with the system, and you will receive an email with instructions.
If you are using https://www.smart911.com or would like to use Smart 911 you can self enroll for Taylor Township messages by going to the Alert tab and selecting Taylor Township.

People can create new Smart911 Safety Profiles right through the app. They can verify phones, add relevant information for dispatchers, and upload photos without needing to remember the website or wait until they’re at a computer. When an app user calls 9-1-1 from their phone, your dispatchers will see their profile in the Safety Profile Smartlet just like a profile made on the website. With Smart 911 you can also select to receive Taylor Township Alerts.
